I got a Henna Tattoo a couple weeks ago and loved it so I did some research and ordered a few tubes... received them way too fast and my dear and wonderful friend let me do some practicing on her! I need to practice my skills before October 6th where I have a mini show and want to try it out then. It is so fun! 100% natural and organic. Promise I am not poisoning my daughter! {{who is 16 months this week and laid the entire time I did some doodling on her!}}

Recycled Crayons. 3.19.2011

This was actually a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. My 3 year old little sister helped as long as her attention span would let her and that was fun. We peeled every broken crayon and then sorted into colors. If I ever do this again I will sort crayons by brand as well. They didn't mix well and the wax sat on top of each one {we had to color for awhile before we actually got color} It was super fun to watch them melt. We didn't even keep track of the time. They didn't want to come out so we stuck them in the freezer for 10 minutes and they came out perfect!

So a couple weeks ago I did a Craft Fair and found this beauty for my baby girls pink shabby chic nursery and I loved it and had to have it! It is perfect for Jemma’s room and I love the color. Grandmas Jewelry Headbands and Flowers

Actually a little secret... the top button is from Wal Mart. You cant go wrong there. Most of my centers cam from my Grandmas broken jewelry collection of earrings, necklaces, pins or cuff-links of my grandpas. All my flowers are treasures and found at the DI, thrift stores, my amazing wonderful and spectacular Grandma or super ugly flower arrangements found at various locations.

The headbands were made using tights from tj maxx or payless. {{Those are my two favs for finding great deals}} I cut the leg off and then the toe and then sewed the two ends together. I used my all magical hot glue gun and turn the sides in to finish off the edges and then finally glue my flower on. so simple and so easy and definitely one of a kind!

I love these new Headbands perfect for baby girls. The flower is attached directly to the headband so there is no clip! Felt is added on the inside so that there is nothing that is going to scratch or harm your perfect little baby. Also I love love love the flower halo worn in the first picture. It is white with diamond centers and fits perfectly around new baby girls! So angelic!

Today my scrapbook room was clean. I'm serious. I spent a couple hours making Valentine Cards for a client. That sounds so professional but true. This room is so far from professional! This was not me (well kind of a lie...everything on the table was me pulling things out of her hands and putting it up where she cant destroy it or hurt herself leaving me a small space to work magic). Her name is Jemma and she is an angelic 8 month old that loves this room. If I lose her during the day. I find her here. You cant get mad at her, she's too cute!
